Ramadhan is a blessed month in which Muslims increase in worship, reflection, charity, and remembrance of Allah.
Allah says in the Qur’an: “O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa (God-consciousness).” (Qur’an 2:183).
The Prophet ﷺ said: “A blessed month has come to you - the month of Ramadhan - in which Allah has made fasting obligatory upon you.” (Nasāʾī).
To mark the arrival of this special month, a Ramadhan welcome display was set up in school to celebrate and encourage pupils to engage with the spirit of Ramadhan.
The display includes creative work from our Year 10 pupils, who designed Ramadhan greeting cards and invitations for the blessed month. It also features activities pupils can take part in, including a 30-Day Ramadhan Challenge, My Ramadhan Du'aa List, a Daily Ramadhan Planner/Journal, and Qur’an bookmarks to encourage regular recitation.
